What do you mean 外國人 ? English speaking? It is hard to tell if you dont say which country. Besides, different people has different preferences. Why not ask her directly?

From your picture attach, it looks like the picture we saw it from magazine, are you a "Star" family?

Just wonder do you feel Aussie are racist? My BIL is Aussie and he told me people look him down as he married a Chinese? It also includes the in-law but no one can stop the true love and they have been married for 11 yrs!

Does your in-law accept you and how about your husband's friends?

I used to study in Melbourne and I always feel Aussie are very racist to Asian and that why I choose to migrate to Canada. They always pick on us because of our accent and I feel very different in here.

As I said before, in Canada everyone is mix and no one really care and I teach my daughter that we are "Canadian". Why we need to protect them if they are the same?

I don't really care what matthew looks.Just worried about when he grows up,and some other kids might say something bad about being a mixed!My hubby told me about this long time ago!Just have to protect him!!!

Which part of Canada you are staying in? My family lives in Vancouver & I lived there for a few yrs as well.
I think every where in the world has some people who is racist, the best thing is just ignore them. Even in Vancouver, long time ago I walked down the park with my mother. There was a drunk selling 黃牛 ticket to a us. I politely say no to him, and he kicked me at the back of my feet and shouted "fXXking Qingkies go back your home...."
Luckily there were a couple of big Canadian girls around and shouted to him & stop him and he took off. I was so angry at the time & concern about my mom's safety, I think I shouted back at him "this place does not belongs to you, it is our home too...." He was white.

ChristiE媽,
I understood your concern of being a mixed. My brother & mom showed concern before. If my girl to a local school, other kids might makes jokes with her. (They also try to convince me to move back) At the end of the day, it falls into our responsibility to guide, teach them it is ok to be different. Which also means they are very special and unique right?

u also vary young ar!and u aready have second bb coming soon!this is so great! :-P i think when our bb grow up,we can make friends and more close with them,haha!:-P

I understand what you are saying, and I do believe some Aussie they will do that to us. And I have been treated like I am a stupid Asian. But luckily, on one from his families or friends that I met did that to me, and my in-law didnt say anything bad about us to get married, which makes me feel happy and get along really well. But like most of the time, I will not talk to other people, especially when I have to make a phone call, some people will be really mean to you becoz you can't speak their lanauage as well as they do. So,I really hate to talk to other people that I don't know!
Really?How's life in Canada??? Maybe I have to ask my hubby to move to Canada one day.
And I reckon that is a part of life for mixed people.Once they realise they are the special one,and they have more advance than others,they should be proud of themselves.But since kids won't understand those things,so,i have to protect them and teach him about it!!!

of course!!! I really want my babies make more friends.But I have to go back to Aus on the first of first la.Next time when i come back and we can going to let them play with each other.And that means you better have another one soon,then the age different will be balance !!!HAHA((Don't know why I always ask people to have kids,especially mixed baby!!!!))Please don't be mind!!And we can also keep in touch in the forum

I really think that's a part of their life.And I truly believe they are the most special person in the world.I mean everyone baby in their parent's eyes are special!!!And we have to "add oil" to build the best way for our kids to walk in their life!!!
