Our employer was in a better position than us:mrgreen: ... as they did not need to take care of us after work... if your maid is pregnant and is not feeling well, you will have to take care of her at home... on top of take care of you kid!!!

I think it is possible. But this will only provide the reason for u to fire her 1 month after the pregnancy. For the 10 months pregnancy and 1 month after the pregnancy, u still have to keep her and pay her ga.

So there is no difference whether you have the private contract or not...because if you want to fire her during pregnancy, she will need to compensate her for her ML and the one month notification.

我都做左lasik好幾年了, 真係好正呀!!! 我仲記得做完operation隔住個shield我就己經睇得好清楚喇. 第日起床先最開心呀, 唔駛搵眼鏡呀~~happy到暈!!!
其實E+hk既lasik technology己經好advance, op唔成功既機會真係好少, 如果short-sighted係好stable又有咁上下深既, 我覺得都worth to do it囉. 我地D咁既年紀(廿幾三十幾)做係最好架, 做完仲有十幾廿年enjoy先老花. 年紀太少做因為眼球仲有機會發育, 近視未咁stable, 做左都有可能有番近視; 年紀太大做就做來都係waste $. 都冇幾年可以enjoy到.
