My hubby went out as usual this morning but the tube station here is closed due to the bad weather and there's no bus for connection too! So he has no choice and working at home now.

The nursery opens today but Howie got temperature up to 39.8C on and off from yesterday.... I'd better keep him home today.

I think all moms are busy today as kids are staying at home! haha...

The snow here is around 5 inches now and keeps snowing...

My hubby also stuck at home today, could not drive to work! Kids got extra day off today, so we built a snowman in the garden and played sledding in the slope ar. We played for 2 hours this morning, when we got home we were all wet. Still to come, we will play in the snow again this afternoon!

It is lucky that your husband can usually take tube to work. So he doesn't need to worry about driving in the slippery icy ground when it is snowing!!! And when all the tube stations are closed and he can't get to work, it is not his fault, either! Good!

I wonder how many people would take the risk to get back there. You'd better call and see whether you can skip it today.

My hubby has just told me that their vice Dean e-mailed them it's OK if they couldn't get to work today.

haha.. there's not all tube station closed today. For our case, the northern part of the Piccadilly Line is running overground and it can be affected by the weather like snow, heavy rain, etc... easily. And now I know the station here is having power failure! The funny thing is they suggest people to take bus to another station for the tube on the website but there's no bus running on the road!

sledding in the slope~sounds wonderful! how do you do that?
how deep is the snow in your area? mine is about 15-17 inches.

hoba drove us up to the Epsom racecourse and was beautiful there..we went sledging as well ! the snow there almost reach my knee! really fun!

Do they need to school tomorrow?? mine no need school until further notice..really dunno good news or bad news...
