在這裏所有媽咪的孩子都好叻，各有所長，我真是很佩服，也非常感謝您們的支持，希望有一天可以跟您們見面，帶囡囡出來學習一下，好讓她開吓眼界。

Congratulations to Matthew and Deniset's daughter for their excellent achievements. They're all "superkids" to me, having pass the G5 theory and play violin concerto at this young age. No success is accomplished without the continuous efforts and devotions from kids and moms, so cheers to all the supporting moms in this club.

完全同意！每次亞仔出賽，我唯一的願望就是"正常發揮",名次非自己所能控制，不敢奢求！
小朋友在台上鎮定地將老師的教導及自己苦練的成果正常發揮出來,已足以讓人感動了！

Just a little sharing about my girl....yesterday she participated in the Violin Concerto N208 (Age 12 and under) and she got 83 marks! It was the first time she ever joined the school music festival. The winner scored 90, 2nd 89 and 3rd 87. I was very pleased with her score and comments from the adjudicator. The only set back was that she lacked on-stage experience and she appeared a bit nervous. Will try again next year. Now, she has a new piece to work for her exam scheduled in early May.

Welcome here and congratulations to your girl! I know nothing about violin but believe that Violin Concerto N208 (Age 12 and under) is a challenging class for young kids like your girl (P4?) and Sandy (P3)!!

Dear JP,
Thanks for your support. My girl is 9 and is in P3. She started violin at the age of 6 but didn't start to take serious lessons until she turned 7, a bit late comparatively.

She could have done much better yesterday otherwise.

are just lucky enough to have a good piano teacher since last April and the standard of other competitors in their groups was not so high.

Dear all,

Sandy 完成了今天下午的 Viola Solo (Intermediate Class), 她不但未能發揮得很好, 遇着的大多對手水準亦很高, 最後只能拿到第三名 (84 mark), 不過個 Winner 真的拉得很好, 發聲好靚, 又有台型[img align=right]http://www.hk-laufamily.com/_943.gif[/img] , 我們也學習到不少呢!
不過, 個adjudicator 好 pro and very serious, d audience 發出少少聲都給他的眼神嚴厲警告, 又喝止數名學生(I think they are secondary students) 很沒禮貌地嘲笑其它台上的參賽者, 話他們不respect 他人, 更不respect 整項比賽, very good 呀, 現在的年青人也太不懂禮貌和尊重別人呢 !
最後, adjudicator 都有分析隻viola piece 應該怎樣演繹, 其中的 technique & important points, 好有用和得益不少, because this is also the viola exam piece for Sandy in the coming April . [img align=right]http://www.hk-laufamily.com/_498.gif[/img]

She still has another violin competition on next Monday (Violin Concerto), but I have heard the other performers in this class are really strong !
I just ask her to do her best!
Btw, best wishes for Elise in her upcoming piano competition too.

Seems they always miss each other, what a pity. Stephanie's competition is on next Wed, 28th, so we have to miss the School Game Day. How about your daughter? best wishes to her, waiting to hear her good news.
