今日下午我地出街買野,回來後發現出車閘口唔知了把密碼鎖,又被d靚仔偷左~
到了七點,又有上次拋石頭入來班靚仔,爬上我後花園屋仔坐上屋頂,又四圍在屋頂上行,幾鬼危險,已經很多次了,叫極都唔落離,我老公係咁please please please叫佢地,過了十幾分鐘後,隔離屋個男人出來叫佢地落離,終於落左.
我唔明佢地係咪歧視我地chinese?成日走來搞我地,其實我地對班靚仔好好,佢地買60p chips唔夠$,我地收少d$,有時仲送腸仔,朱古力,糖,洋蔥比佢地食,點解會成日蝦我地

係d報紙到落糖漿啦, 搞到佢地痴立立, 加埋d 黑色, 黃色顏料, 嚇下佢地, 等佢地唔知乜黎, 但又要洗極都洗唔"nut" 就最好啦... 你唔好咁好人俾咁多野佢地食啦, 咁衰, 真係要公事公辦. 我覺得呢, 如果d英國人知你唔係好識英文, 佢地真係會歧視我地d 中國人, 我以前讀書果度d office, 我初頭講英文講得唔好, 佢地係完全唔理我, 好衰格, 連d同學都係咁, 係後尾我識左老公, 勁講英文, 英文有左改善先好d 咋.

我成日覺得係英國政府整到D細路仔咁衰，因為D law係over protect佢哋。

我覺得呢個世界永遠有歧視，係我舅父個邊，如果你架車靚少少，就比人劃花，逢星期日我哋過隔離埠飲茶，car park個度D車成日比人掟玻璃，我覺得有好多鬼佬都唔鍾意chinese，因為我哋勤力咁搵錢。

My husband use to own a Chinese takeaway in a poor neighbourhood & has some comments below.

All the problems that you mentioned, kids stealing, stone throwing, not enough money to pay for meals etc, we have also experienced. But the sad thing is the police have the same attitude, in that these are not major crime. These are so common for anyone owning a shop, not just Chinese.

I was born and raised in UK and there is definitely racial prejudice here. I don't want to be prejudice myself, but the fact is normally, it's the poor and uneducated who are trouble as they see more foreigners (Chinese, Indians etc) doing well. They are envious but don't consider how hard we worked to achieve success They just think UK is my country, I'm better than any foreigner. It's pathetic really.

Now. I'm going to be honest and say there is no easy way out of this situation. You can try to play jokes back like the newspaper prank, but you might find the kids will just take revenge. If, being nice to them doesn't help, then don't. Be firm with them. If they keep coming into the shop without the right money, you need to say NO. Once or twice is ok, but more than that is unacceptable. Remember, bullies pick on the weak.

I'm sure that you want to buy a shop in a better neighbourhood and that is what you need to focus on. It makes life a little easier thinking of better days ahead, otherwise you will just get depressed. Believe me, I've been there.

I know running a business has other pressures, such as long hours. We shortened our opening hours, so that we are closed during the quieter moments (early evening). At least we can rest a little bit more. Maybe you can do the same.

I suggest you think of ways to make your life better by concentrating on what is under your control (you cannot control the kids).

I think BeoyC is right, it is important to check the surrounding area to see whether it is a good neighbourhood. Also, I suggest you ask how much money they make and when is the busiest time. Then park close by the shop and see for yourself. You want to be sure that there is enough business to survive and know what kind of customers there are.

Also, how close is the market and is it easy to buy goods, e.g. oil, meat, rice etc.

哎o也，我今次真可憐，繼家父再次入院後(他今次有發燒，要隔離，任何人都唔探得佢:cry:)，現在我家o果兩位男丁都病埋！

老公已感冒了數天仍未好番，現在加埋BB發燒中....唉淨番我同工人撐住昨，希望佢地三位大少早日康服啦！ :-(
