It's so nice to have a platform sharing all these experiences. They are very informative.
I just had an operation a month ago to remove the uterus fibroid and chocolate cyst at the ovary. I had a lot of 'fish soup' but still feeling tired and looking pale.
Although the fibroid and cyst are now removed, they will recur/ come back again. From what I heard from the BK forum, I cannot eat chicken, Chinese herbal medicine, or those that 'promote the blood' like bird nest, 'tong kwai', in order to prevent the fibriod and cyst from coming back .
1) What do you recommend to eat in order to become more energetic? What about 'pig liver water'?
2) More important question: if I am going to have baby, is it true that I still cannot eat chicken, etc after delivery (when "sitting month") in order to prevent the fibriod and cyst from coming back again? I am afraid my body will become very weak.
welcome you to join us in this topic. in fact, i have not taken any special food after operation. but you are right that the bird nest, 'tong kwai' are not good as it will make the cyst to recur. for the chicken, i also heard that it is not good for women as it will affect our hormone esp the chicken wing. i think the pig liver is not so good as it has with high cholesterol.
for the chinese herbal medicine, it should be tailor-formulated becasue of different body characteristics among people. i am now taking the chinese medicine in order to improve my body and health. it is quite work for me but the main issue is it takes time. you may also try to seek some chinese doctors' advice on your case.
