Dear gogochurch,
On the contrary, I think piano is important c'os it requires 10 little fingers running on the keyboard at the same time. Your girl is already doing super compared to mine. It doesn't matter whether she is going to take up any string instruments at this stage. It's more important that she is happy with the way she is now.

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement, they made me almost believe that my girl had achieved something. Well, maybe so in general context, but definitely not worth mention when comparing with your talented boys and girls. She's got lot more to work on.

Her exam is scheduled on Apr 28 (Sat), less than one month to prepare. Her teacher just picked her exam songs yesterday, really have to work hard this month. Aii....no eye see.

I have requested to transfer to MJ201 in my reply form, most likely won't be entertained. Her teacher seems not too serious about the exam, is it difficult to pass?

Dear Tzeyanmui,
I hv no experience in cello but as long as your girl spends adequate time on her daily practice, she should be able to handle it without difficulty. Mine is also working on her exam pc. Similar to your daughter, she only started it a few days ago c'os she was working on the competition pc. prior to that. Wish your daughter a smooth and successful exam.

今日囝囝係 violin solo 比賽得到第一名，有 91分。
囝囝有幸遇唔到 "殘酷一叮"評判，反而遇到一個 " kind lady"，佢開場時先用廣東話同大家講早晨，跟住又會提 d 參賽者小心放好譜架，完場時又會提出一 d 好專業嘅 comments，最特別係佢最後邀請所有參賽者一齊上台大合奏，所有小朋友無論有無獎都玩得好開心！希望將來都可以再遇到呢類評判啦！

Sorry for missing your phone message on Wed. We left APA before 6:30pm that day.

I think it is a good move to switch to MJ201, but do they require a re-audition ? My daughter is considering MJ201 piano too but it really depends on her teacher. Good luck to both of our kids !!

How can you train such brilliant kids who are super in 2 music instruments? Please give us some hints la!!! :lol: :lol:

Sandy's little brother also finished his violin Solo today (only grade 1 乍) and he got the 1st prize too , same mark as 91, he also met a very kind lady adjudicator (Mrs. Vxxxxxx) who is very nice and said today is her last day in HK. Are we in the same centre (Luk Kwok) today? But we are in the pm section for grade 1 !!
