basically i like all kind of flowers , even some chinese flowers like 'kim lan' 'kok fa' etc but must be a big big bunch!! and i got 12pots indoor plant in my sitting room, 4of them are orchards.

every year jan-march wl hv bulk orders, it's good coz normally this peirod is slack season so it does help a bit, but there's pressure as well, need to cook & delivery on time.. 1time there was a 200+ orders , which was bad & suck experience, we couldnt managed to cook the fish on time, it was delayed about 45mins, the lady was standing & waiting for the fish... even we shut the shop just doing their orders!! and offended our regular customers as well!! so fm last time on, we only accept bulk orders under 120!!

I don't grow any flowers in my house cos every time I grow some flowers, it will end up dying! So in the end, no more flowers but I grow vegetables instead. I didn't like 'kim lan' and 'kok fa' when I was young, I felt they were old-fashioned and too traditional. But now when I grow old, I feel actually they are also some pretty lovely flowers!!!!!

What veggie do you grow ar? I used to grow tomatoes as they are the easiest one. We growed "shark's fin " melon b4, but I don't really like the taste. What else veggie is easy to plant?

haha, same la, b4 i hate ''kim lan'' & 'kok fa' gar, but when getting older, i think they are nice too! esp to put a large bunch of them together, really look nice! i saw some designer's shop put a large punch and look really fashionable tim!

u know, all my outdoor plants died since cold weather... may be 2pots of roses still survive gei.. do u hv any plants in yr garden?? how about yr conservatory?? you use it as dinning room or playroom??

shark's fin melon? it seems v popular to grow here wor.. my 99 even brought 2 fm uk to HK for us b4!! u dont like the taste?? i think it's like normal melon .. i usually cook with dried shrimp, 'fan si', mushroom.
i planted tomatos last yr but the taste doesnt nice.. no taste gei!! and some chilli as well..but probably died la..

haha, that's true wor..but u know i never get any pay gar..... but dunno how to explain.. when i worked in HK, that's really my money mah... just like hobo bought me things now, i dont hv the same feeling lor.. coz part of my money as well mah..

by the way, do u mums hv yr own financial gar? all my money still in HK... but in UK, i have none!!... or i shd hv one ??

And thanks for reminding Valentine's Day as well! I keep forgetting the important days and always give cards/presents out too late ~ actually I usually do it when I have time during that day but hubby is very childish: he wants it first thing in the morning...

Talking about old-fashioned flowers, I like peony. Have seen them in M&S but the buds are much smaller and not enough pastels...

I've also thought of trying to grow some veg in the garden but i'm extremely not green-fingered...but tell me:
Do you need to change the soil in the garden or I can just plough it up, put the seed, etc...
Is there shark's fin melon here? I didn't know...can you buy them in supermarket???
