Wait your son is older, then you will think about what class you want to send him. Yes, my daughter is happy for attending different classes and I understand that kids can pick up faster when they are young, so I want her to explore whatever I can afford then narrow down what she really like when she is older. I also think about Kung-ku, but for girls...may be for short while for learning the basic. In fact, I think gymnastic may be better and I have put her in drop in class before and she has lots of fun.

Learning should be fun and I will only let her go if she likes it. Swimming is the best as I want her to work as a life guard in colleague and earn some pocket money by herself..hehe.!
Music instrument...I have no talent on music as well as my husband, but if she likes it, then we may try. It just like learning Chinese, I ask her if she wants to go, never force her to go.

Yes, I heard in States medical is very expensive but I didnt think it is so bad! So, it is still very cheap in HK compare with States.

Yes, it's so much cheaper in HK. At least you have the choice to go to public hospitals! Just wonder how much you have to pay for health insurance and child birth in Canada? Are all hospital there private like the US?

I think we are opposite to US. All hospital is under Govt and if I am right, we dont have any private hospital here. Just the medical plan is $108/mth for a family of 3 or above which includes child birth and OB. Extend health care is almost must as it cover everything that the medical plan not cover, such as medicine, physio...
It is common for the company to cover that for the staff and my husband's company pay for everything includes the family members while many companies will charge extra. eg, my company will charge $90/mth for extend health care.
I heard from other mommy, we dont need to pay anything and once the baby born, the baby will receive milk allowance till 18yrs, but it depends on your total income. Plus we will receive $100/mth for a child under 6yrs as to subsidy child care. Dont say it is good, all these come with a cost which is generated from our taxes anyway.

I really think the welfare is much better in Canada! How high is the tax? Is it automatically deducted from the paycheck each month like the US? or you pay a large amount of money at the end of the fanancial year like hk?

Yes, the health care is better if you compare to US, however, our salary is lower and that's many Canadians run to US to look for job and come back to retire.

Yes, the taxes will deduct directly from paycheck and the rates are varies from 22-50%, the more you made, the higher taxes they charge.

大食媽咪> 差不多攪掂了，前日去買埋床仔同車仔，同埋Ｄ瑣碎野。宜家我阿Ｂ(Takumi)好有可能會15/1出世，本來諗住順產，但因為佢幾係大隻，同埋香港就算私家的床位都俾大６人佔用，所以好似開刀穩陣Ｄ。等你過年返香港時阿Ｂ就會滿左月，可以見大食auntie同大食姐姐了！大食uncle會同你一齊返香港嗎？

You decide to have C-section now? Are you excited?
Have you moved to the new flat yet? How is it?

Work is really busy and I hardly have any time to go to BK :-( :-( :-( I felt very strange because I did not miss Arthur that much after I start working but I was worry whether I can catch up with work

Maybe because I know that my mother will take good care of Arthur so I am not worry

It's nice to have x'mas holiday and I can spend more time with my prince now
