complain the ex-maid's bad attitude to immg. dept!Why they heard

Mrs Rose,

I fellow your instruction like this case and one month notice.
After the ex-maid was gone! Why other maid told her boss, "I had been phoned to immgration Dept to compain my EX-MAID by phone. But the fact is , I only faxed the letter to immgration dept yet! So why they knew, I had complain her? ?????????

Hi Mrs Rose,

Thanks for your reply. I called my agent on 19/11, they then told me my VCA no (show that they dont care my case until I call them!)

then I called immigration and fax "letter" to them to ask for spped up. ar "sir" in immigration told me they have my document on 5/11, which is already 2 weeks ago! he said my agent is so slow too!

he asked me to wait....

1. so when do u think my indonesian maid will come?

2. i want my maid to have 2 day off / month only, (not include the labour holiday), can I use $$ to pay for the other 2 day off? is it legal?

我想問下請新工人, 佢到香港後會係agent 帶佢到我屋企, 定係要我去agent 到接個工人番我屋企呢? 如果工人整爛東西值$1000, 工人都只要賠比我hk$300, 而唔係每個月扣佢$300直至扣足$1000 呢?

要問你Agent先知，包唔包送工人到你屋企渦。工人整爛野係'每樣' 最多賠HK$300俾你。

ANS: The visa should be able to be release around early December. As for when you maid can arrive in HK will depend on your agent.

ANS: Yes, you can and it is legal.

dear mrs rose,
pls help...
i will have a new maid soon, she has worked in hk for 1.5 years with reference from previous employer, becoz exemployer immigrate to australia. i hve also talke to the exempoywer, she said seh is very good.
1- willl agency fake an ex employer to me? how can i know she is real?
2- how can i prevent maid to hurt baby?

holiday issue

Dear Mrs Rose,

I hired a maid in this month and She agree that she will going back to Philippine to see her kids in xmas while we are having holidays. I bought her a ticket from 21 dec to 3 jan

I got some questions to ask

she is willing to take off 7days of her annual leave pre advance the rest how to calculate ?

In xmas i know there is 2 public holidays and new year 1 day in jan as well if she use annual leave to cover i still have to pay her full month salary right ?

I know sunday is not count as annual leave but just dont have idea if she havent work for us for 3 months how to deal with the public holiday like xmas .

1) 工人出年3月25日做滿6年, 如果唔續約, 可否用大假提早走呢? 請問第三個合約, 大假共有多少日呢?

2) 現準備請一個新工人, 剛剛在AGNET公司看過一個曾經在 S'PORE 四年同一個僱主工作經驗的印尼工人。請問在S'PORE 做過的工人大多數會否有問題呢??

ANS: It is possible, but there is no way I can comment if your agent had fake on this. If you have the ex-employer's address, you can try to send her a letter to ask her to call you or ask to call her again in Australia to verify further.

2- how can i prevent maid to hurt baby?

ANS: You can set IP cam in the common area of your home. At least the maid will be aware that someone is watching her.

Don't confuse yourself with so many question. The easiest way to calculate is to do it this way.

On the day she leave for her holiday, pay her the salary for the days in the month she had worked. Example 1st Dec to 21st Dec salary.

When ishe is back to start work, pay her the salary at the end of the month for the days she had worked for that month. Example 3rd Jan to 31st Jan.

As she had started work for only less then 3 months, she is not entitled to any paid labour holiday and annual leave.

If you want to let her pre advance 7 days of annual leave, just add 7 days of her salary amount to pay her.

If you still don't understand, PM me your contact number and I will call you to elaborate further.

1)ANS:{雙方同意下可提前最多28日走。第5年10日、第6年11日兩年合共21日}

2)ANS:{S'PORE 四年同一個僱主工作very good, no problem}

入境處不會同意合約延長半年，最多一個月。並沒有其它方法，你只好先續約、半年後才解約。

Hi mrs rose,

我4個月前用左direct hire請左個bun 妹來港, 但佢現在話生骨刺要返菲律賓, 佢比左一個月的通知期我, 11/25就要走, 我補左張回程機票比佢,由香港去馬尼拉, 知後佢同我講叫我要比埋由馬尼拉去到原居地的車費佢, $2000被索, 我想知道合約上有一項7b不是已經是當日的膳食及車資津貼(HKD$100/day),嗎? 是不是還要比佢, 另外我怎樣知道這程車費一定是$2000被索. 在那裡可以查到,我問過agent佢話好難查到價錢, 是真的嗎? 這樣bun bun 報大數我都唔知啦?
