剛睇完醫生回來，Takumi宜家係37W，但巳經有7.8lbs，醫生話如果我呢幾日生的話有50%機會自己生到，但如果再過多兩個星期的話就咪搏了，因為我個盤骨只屬average，所以巳經confirm了15/1開刀，到時Takumi巳經係差不多39W，都唔知會變成幾多磅了！不過既然confirm開刀，我就實行谷肥阿仔，等佢好湊Ｄ！

Don't worry Takumi will be too big because when I had Arthur, the doctor said he was 9pound when it was 37 weeks because he was 8.76pound when he was born on 38weeks2days

I take care of my son by myself, no helpers. You're even thinner than before?? That's amazing!! How fast did you lose all your pregnancy weight? Within a year? I wish I could lose all my pregnancy weight

I think I will take my son out more once the weather is warmer~

My husband's company only pays for his health insurance, not for the entire family. He can add us to his plan thru his company, but it will cost us even more than getting a separate plan.
We just bought a new carseat too! We bought it on Amazon.com ($269+$8shipping fee)!! Do you buy stuff there or other online stores? Sometimes they have stuff that is cheaper than in the stores or not available in the local stores!! Kmart is not very popular in the States anymore, you don't want to go there to shop as they are mostly in a rough neighborhood, and the stores look very rundown......
The tax varies in different states, for example in California, it is around 8%, not as high as that in Canada!

yes, the grocery may be cheaper in Canada, but other than that, US will be cheaper as the buying power is 10 times bigger than Canada. eg, we bought a car seat for $150 and I see the same model in Kmart is only $90! I cant go to US, so I have to pay more eventhough I know it is cheaper to buy it in US. Besides, we need to add 14% taxes on top of almost everything while US doesnt charge so much, right?

It is like working in HK or working in China. Everything in HK is expensive but it is still worth to work in HK as the salary is much more.

Just curious how much you pay for your medical insurance separately? In Vancouver, group insurance is much cheaper as separate plan is not common.
Yes, I do online shopping, but not so such big item. Besides, the shipping is very high to ship to Canada. I like to watch shopping channel too, but after that, I prefer to shop it at the shop and see before I buy.
Recently I have 2 incident about shopping online. I want to buy the product and found that they have web site in both US and Canada. The interesting thing is the price is much cheaper in USD even includes shipping, however, they dont allow me to buy from US if I am in Canada. I even told them I can have a US credit card to pay for it but they just ignore my request. Finally I just bought it from the shop in here!

$269 for a car seat is very expensive! Did you drive alot?
