you got very good memory wor! yes, we are still using it. Trevor's eczema is not completely gone, but his condition is much much better! At the moment, his skin is fine, but when the weather is changing, he may has mild eczema again!

I did some searches on the internet and many says it is just mineral deposits but not pleasant to look at.
And yes, it is not good to keep reboiling water in the kettle, forgot the reason...so I have a jug to keep cooled boiled water that is boiled for once only for Carlos to use. Hubby is coffee-mad and he just put the kettle, keep adding more water and boil ~ as he likes it and I don't want to make a fuss about it anymore...so long as he doesn't use it for Carlos.

Do you know what did we dump in the dump site so far??
We had dumped the bath tub, 2 sinks, a toilet, the whole house carpet, a sofa bed, a double bed mattress, a lot of wall papers, some lights etc.

For big items, we will saw and cut it into smaller pieces first so it could fit into the car! Then we took there in a few goes and dumped!

Yes ar, the repairman suggested this anyway. I do think it is more expensive to buy a new washing machine and the pressure that when it broken down, you might not get a new one asap and there are loads of laundry to sort out! So for me, I choose to use it every time lor.

There was once (a few years ago) I went to visit a friend (she is a gwei por) and when I said to her I wanted a glass of water, she just took a glass and filled it up from the tap (in front of me!) without any filter! On my mind, I was shock but of course I just drank it all up! I know it is not harmful to eat those limescale but I just feel very unpleasant knowing I am drinking all those limescale inside my body!

Yes, that's why I was shock when I saw it!

Our old washing machine (after repair) was left to the next owner when we sold the house la! And now we are using a new washing machine but still I will put calgon every time when doing the laundry! Don't want the same thing happen again la!

No la where we live have to depend on where hubby's working. So unless he has a better job in Scotland la! Manchester also is a soft water area, since he can't have a better job there, we will not consider move up there, either la!

Once my kettle is full of limescale in the bottom, I will just pour some vinegar in and boil it (without adding any water!) After a few minutes, it is all cleaned!!!

wow thats great, i didnt really hear that we got a dump sites here. maybe i need to ask martin about it!!!

how about if u need to dump those electronical products? says... steamer, kettle or maybe washing machines.. how will u dump it?

Actually I don't like to drink warm water, I like to drink warm/hot green tea but for water, cold please. I know it is not good for health from a chinese point of view. But I feel if I am thirsty, warm water just can't help!
