Thank you for your kind suggestions. I've shown my husband your suggestions and I think he would know what to do.......hehe....buy me an electric milk pump. He also feel intested in this chat as he can see different mix babies here.
Actually, I've been reading the BF forum lately. It's very informative but I think it has to be experince the real thing as all the babies are different.
How are you lately?? You seems to be very busy. I have to bring Alex to the doctor on Mon. She has constipation and the doctor had to help her to get the poopoo out. She was crying coz it was painful. I don't know what caused it but she had started having two meals of solid food lately. Also, she refused to drink any water. Don't know what I can do to prevent it.

Hi veldasharpe & other mommies,
Have been real busy at work recently. My computer infected at home so I don't have computer at night only sneaking on to BK while at work.... :-( :-(
Try to reduce the solid food to once a day or change brand for little Alex. Is she having congee or 糊仔? 糊仔 can be very 熱氣,also formula itself very 熱氣 too. Must make her drink those 開奶茶/薏米水 mixed in with formula if she refused to drink any water. I changed a few 糊仔 for Kiely B 4. I thought Heinz "X山薏米" one was quite good.
Alex is fine now coz the doctor gave her some 軟便medicine. I think what happened is I have given her some 猴棗散 to clear her 痰痰 and it turned out that it was very 熱氣. So, that what caused it and my mother had bought some 開奶茶 for her. Hope it will not occur again.
She is now eating congee at lunch and 糊仔 for dinner. I am giving her Gerber 糊仔 mixed with puree vegetables/fruits. But I really don't know how to make congee. What should I put in??? and should I puree everything first before cooking it together/cooked it first and put everything into a blender????
veldasharpe,
I also used Gerber 糊仔 once but I found it really 熱氣 so I changed only use Heinz. Kiely had no problem after.
We always only use kitchen knife to mince the meat and vegetable since you only put very little each time. Usually boiled the congee first and near the end add the meat and veg. Of course it also has to be fully cooked. We always use pork or fish + choi sum.
Regarding formula she drink 雪印 b 4 but suprisingly also had pooh pooh problem. We change to Frisco now, so far so good.
xother,
I used to drive a lot when I was in school and I liked driving too. The longest time I drove was about 8 hours (nonstop except for restroom and food). After being with my husband who drives very well, I don't need to drive as much because he drives every time we go out. I don't think I drive as well as I used to due to the lack of practice. And now with a baby in the car, we can't drive as freely as we used to! Do you like driving? It's nice that you guys can take public transportation to work!
We really don't watch tv much at all! I have never watched Apprentice.
shah,
Just try to enjoy the closeness with your son as long as you can! When he tells you he wants to sleep in his room, you may be sad at that time
My son can stand alone now! He still needs to hold onto something when he walks, he's getting better everyday! When did fung fung first walk by himself?
My son is called Joe! Hope he can play with fung fung one day
Shah,
Yes, agree with AKW. My husband asks my daughter to sleep together when the weather is very cold...he really missed her!
AKW,
I dont like to drive as I have my car accident when I rent a car, although it is small accident. Now I drive to pick up my daughter or send her to classes only. My husband scares of driving, so our car is has very low mileage! The longest trip we have is about an hour to do u-pick blueberry in last summer. We have a tourist attraction which is famous for hot spring which just over an hour drive, I asked my husband to go there few times but he refused as he doesnt want to drive that far!
xother and AKW

我鐘意你同我講 I Love U, I Love U Too!
You are the sunshine of my life. That's why I'll always stay around. You are the apple of my eye. Forever you'll stay in my heart.
Takumi was born at 7:45 am on Monday, 15 January 2007 weighing in 3.7 kg (8 lbs 2 oz)! We back home yestereday!
I breastfeed Takumi since the 3rd day of his birth (cos I had C-section and there was no supply until the 3rd day). It's tiring to get up in the mid-night for the breastfeeding (you know, I have to take a lift from 2/F to 1/F to feed the baby in the hospital), but it's worth as Takumi is doing really well and enjoy the "food" so much!
