high chair - YES! but now never buy the one staring from new born to whatever years old, i.e. those Combi one. if buy just buy the one for toddler (staring from 6-9mths one) coz my 小豬丁 using high chair from new born, he was quite love to stay there when his moblity is still limited. now he can't wait for 5 mins even i adjust it to almost upright position. maybe the chair is too small (well, my bb is just M-size and the chair is claimed to use until 4 years old!!)
Bumbo - just like a toy and the toy is close to $400 which is quite pricey i think. since u can't let bb sit there without attention. bb is easily leading forward or even falling down.
in this stage, i prefer to put him in the play center. he is siting very safely. and the toys are able to keep him busy at least 20mins. the toys from Baby Einstein which i believe is gd for bb development. my bb start to play w/ the toys immediately when we put just him down
