My mom is now staying with me for 1month only, bun bun is taking my 3months odl baby. today, my mom has purcahsed a new chinese magazine, then baby cries, my mom went into baby's room for 5 min to take care baby. then my mom discover that bun bun took her newly purchase chinese magazine into kitchen and reading it.

what should i do?
should we let her know? but we don't want to be too mean so that she will harm my baby...
we have just hired her for 3 weeks only

actually she treats my baby quite ok...
pelase help

i let her read magazine when she free or finish her work, but if bb cry, she must go to see immediately, and my maid also ok wo

我工人邊有時間坐低?!

唔係清潔依度就個度, 我奶奶9:00am到我家, 姐姐已經用完手抺地! 跟住好busy, 手洗bb衫, 洗奶瓶. 要週周圍抺. 有時做晒野係d書櫃書都要本本抺同抺鞋(奶奶講).

工作時, 一聽到bb喊, 放下工作看奶奶有咩要幫, 唔會由得奶奶自己湊.

得食飯坐低! 我見過晚上9點幾bb早訓左, 未夠11:00. after bathing, 姐姐打開門看報紙, 我叫訓啦, 先關門訓

my bun bun ar...
we finish eating around 8:30, then she washes all the dishes, around 9 (never after 9:30), she would go to sleep gar la.......
is she too lazy? we think that she should tidy up the living room.... but she never done so, she would say she will do it in the early morning, seh wakes up around 6:45

Maybe you can try my method: I give only a checklist of housework to my bun bun and ask her to give a check every week. The checklist is those job that won't need to do everyday, e.g. cleaning fridge, windows, etc. This allow her to have some flexibility but let her know what she needs to do. If she did not do that job, she needs to be honest ont the list. I told her if I find her telling lies, I will blame her badly. Every pay date I will take the list and discuss about her working performance.

So far this works quite well for my bun bun.

橫店你比唔比工人都一定會偷下懶, 我都容許工人睇書/雜誌,不過講到明一定要bb訓緊覺同做晒所有工作先可以, so far 佢都唔會太過份

May be your helper just does not know politeness and the houserules. Yes, tell her that you don't mind to let her read provided that she finish the work. And, if she wants to read the book/magazines that you bought, she has to ask you first. That's what I told to my bun bun.
