Any experience to share when stop breastfed BB several days to go to a short trip? (I fully B/F my BB for 1.5mths already and like to go to thailand 3 dayswith my hubby for marriage anniversary celebration, so thinking about how to keep the "milk" ...etc)

我個女差唔多2個月時，我都去左3日2夜旅行。
我帶埋2泵去，大約6個鐘泵一次（一齊泵會快D，清D），每次加埋泵9-10安左右。
奶量係跌左少少，不過2-3日又追返。

我果時只係帶大仔去，佢就飲部份奶，多左果D就唔要。

keep住泵就得架啦，我而家都係出左trip，照樣每日都盡量跟平常泵奶時間泵，今次會出trip8日，唔泵就一定會跌。

I wl go for a 4-day trip also, I will bring the pump and fridge-to-go and plan to bring the cold milk (to be drunk within 72 hours) back to HK. I plan to keep the cold milk in the fridge of the hotel (or my friend's home). But I just got a medium size fridge-to-go (i.e. can put 4 bottles of soft drink size), I cannot bring more than 4- bottles. Anybody can share ? Is it better to keep them in milk bag to save space ??

I am also a full b/f mom, my baby girl is 8months now.
I am planning to go travel for a week.
I want to ask if i go to travel for a week, during this time
she can only drink formula milk. After I am back home,
will she refuse to drink my milk????

last week i went to trip(tailand) 4 day 3 night . i took pump to pumped. per day pumped three. but the milk i throw lorr!!! MUST PUMP ARR

我諗你可以睇番自己需要啦，我個女都已經開始左食3餐固體，所以只係需要早晚兩餐奶，而我嘅奶庫都keep左有卅包奶，所以出trip就唔會帶奶番，只係keep番每日如常次數泵奶，我泵4次。因為開會仲要安排儲存d奶，又要消毒d泵同樽都好難預時間，淨keep住泵的話就輕鬆好多。

所以你可以先衡量以下幾點:-
1. bb每日食嘅奶量，奶庫可否供應
2. 出trip對儲存奶嘅安排，如on holiday同一酒店等，可輕易安排就不妨帶番嚟，倒左都真係幾肉痛....我有時都自己飲番
3. 出trip密的話，奶庫可否保持供應，會否介意bb需要補給奶粉

I got many frozen milk but I thought it got some sort of "fishy" smell and BB seems doesn't like it much.

你又唔可以hand carry。冰左佢入行理箱，溶左流到成箱都係重煩。同埋又要消毒d泵又好煩。

Yes ar, I also going to buy fridge-to-go bag (model: 1199, can store 6 bottles of coke). I think I will use "milk bag", so just bring one bottle is ok. (i prefer use hands rather than pump, since I have an Avent pump, very slow pumping, and as tired as using hand!

oh, fridge-to-go would 溶左流到成箱都係?? i don't bring 泵la, just use "hand". But iam thinking whether my mom can look after my son, i found that my son need me to "breastfeed" him even eat using bottle at night!! HELP~

Baby food can be hand carried on board. I don't think there would be much trouble for a short flight with the fridge-to-go (hand carried).

I hope my experience can help you... I just came back from Phuket last nite from a 5 days trip. I brought a long both my Avent hand pump to use when i am out and Medela electric pump to use when i am in hotel.

Using sterilize tablet which dissolves in water to sterilize both pump and bottles. And to use Gerber milk bag with zip to store milk everytime i pump and then put inside a plastic box and put in the freezer part of the hotel fridge. After the plastic box is full (which is usually 3 or 4 bags of 6oz), i will put the whole box inside a large size ziploc and call the room service to collect and put the milk inside the kitchen freezer.

Then 1 day before you leave, send in the fridge to go in the freezer as well. I bought a large size which is good for 12 cans of coke, that size is about $235, it's quite expensive but i think my milk is worth much more than that. I can fit 25 bags of frozen 6 oz in it plus a bag of ice on top.

Call the room service to send all the stuff to you 10 mins b4 you check out and i just pack the fridge to go inside my luggage inside a few plastic bags. I left hotel at 2pm yesterday from Phuket to Bangkok and Bangkok to HK arriving at 11:30pm last nite. Got home at 1am and the milk is still frozen....

One more thing is that pls make sure the hotel empolyee understand what is frozen. 3 boxes of my milk accidentally were put in the fridge instead of freezer and i have to through away 15bags of milk, my husband was so angry room service guy....
