本人明年４月要帶兒子返美國讀pre-school,但需要租左apartment先,請問有冇在san jose,cupertino一帶住更的媽媽有好介紹,or比d意見我,many thanks

Hi,

I am living in Cupertino now. The rent in Cupertino is very high, why do you want to live here? If it is because of the school districct, then it's ok to pay extra. However, your son is in pre-school only, unless you want him to study at Cupertino's public pre-school. Otherwise, you can save some money of renting an apartment in Sunnyvale or Mountain View, and move to Cupertino when he goes to elementary school.

How old is your son now?

which part of san jose u plan to live? we're in north sj. there're many apartments in our neigborhood but they're not very cheap too although they're already cheaper than those in the cupertino area. i think becoz there're lots of hi-tech companies in this area and lots of Indian engineers just got relocated.

there's a Challenger school (private school from 3 yrs old til middle school) in our neighborhood. however, it's not that cheap compared to other preschools, plus it's not guranteed that yr kid can get into coz they do the lottery (depend on yr luck).

hi yungah,
my son is now 26mouths, i want to live in Cupertino is becouse my sister-in-low is living there,and i didn't know the difference between Cupertino's public pre-school & others pre-schools, i will to go check the renting rate of Sunnyvale lather, as i know there is high rate at Mt. view too.

hi SY_Mon,

I plan to bring my son to Cupertino, and i will choose the Montessori pre-school for his start. I'd check the renting in Cupertino about 1,500-2,000 per month (apartment).

Hi puisee,

My son is 17 months now, so I haven't start look for pre-school seriously, but will soon. As I know, most of 出名 (academic, not just play-based) pre-school are private.

My friend just rent a one bedroom apartment in Cupertino for $1800 plus water and electric. When u look for apartment in Sunnyvale, stay away from those area with lots of Mexican. My friend had bad experience with Mexican neighbours.
