baby learns best from their mom, if not, at least from human being and not from machines. playing DVD acts as 'kill time' activities....for moms/caregivers to take a break. best bet is to read, sing and talk to your babies using different languages (1 language at a time, not Chinglish). my daughter shows excitment everytime i read and show her the story book and she looks at the page seriously.
