My maid said she will start not eating & drinking from 4am on Sept 1. It will take 1 month to do so. She will only have dinner after 7pm.

According to her, it will take 1 month to do so. Have your maid start doing this?

I remembered that my previous maid only not eating & drinking for around 2 weeks...how come the one said ONE month? Is it true?

Also, she told me that if her period comes, she will postpone it accordingly? Is that true?

呵, 我個個都係咁同我講, 不過我就拒絕左佢... 我同佢講每天要係我起身番工時, 要佢俾我見到佢食野, 如果俾我知到佢唔食野就炒魷!!!

My ex-indonesian maid follows very strictly on the Muslims rules. She didn't eat nor drink for one month. She woke up at 3am every night to cook and eat. Then she would not drink nor eat during daytime. She also prayed five times a day and needed to face the right direction. She said she must follow the rules very strictly.

She started going to the Mosque in TST every week since she took her holiday. Since then, her friend warned her not to eat any "uncleaned" (things not yet prayed before slaughtered) food. So she was not eating any meat including chicken, beef, lamb.......bought from ordinary supermarket. She said she could only eat seafood!!!!!!!

She was extremely "troublesome" and thus I didn't renew her contract.

係架, 我之前個都係一個月架. 不過佢到最後都唔係好掂, 所以都有飲少少水. 今次呢個我唔打算俾佢咁做.

Can we not "allow" them to do so? I thought it was their rights, so did not dare to ask them to drink or eat.
But not drinking nor eating during day time, they have very bad breath... smell like hell !!

My one is the same and she started to eat before 4am. She does drink in day time.

I think we need to respect their religious but bottomline is she needs to ensure she has strength to carry out daytime duties.

呢個真係好回教喎，雖然係麻煩D，
不過應該唔會借貴利，濫交同玩野，
因為佢咁鬼虔誠。

佢地呢個月係封齋月, 這是佢地回教徒的大節, 唔好強人所難啦! 呢個係佢地的文化宗教的生活, 況且佢地只係daytime唔吃嘛, 佢地做掂d野咪得囉.

斃在佢個“社團”影响得佢好緊要！佢初初來唔係咁虔诚嫁，但自從放假羣埋啲friend去TST個清真庤後就成個人都唔同晒，咩都話唔食得仲成日都要拜神，佢個“社團”啲friend仲教到佢鬼咁精，成日唸住揾我着数。佢臨完约前嗰個月真係完到我殘！！！！

話雖如此！我同老公就係咁唸，太專重佢地嘅宗教文化，结果令自己麻烦！

我地有时忙起上來，skip一餐半餐都試過，但一两日係咁就話jie，但成個月都係咁，由朝到晚唔飲水唔食嘢，莫講話會影响日常工作表现啦，就連日常生活都會影响啦！

仲有佢地嘅工作性质係照顧頭家，照顧小朋友，有啲嘢如果分神做錯咗，或者“累”底咗，後果可以好嚴重，例如佢唔够精神，唔記得餵药比小朋友，唔記得熄火，唔知醒凑小朋友返學等，我就领教過啦！每日见到佢我都心驚胆跳，佢成個人wing下wing下，真驚佢唔知幾时“累”低！

無可否認，係佢國家，佢可以點都得，佢可以由朝到晚唔飲唔食，呢係屋企，净係坐係度日拜夜拜就梗係無問题。但你來到香港，係開緊工做緊嘢，受緊人工，就應該盡量去適應調節，唔係要我地一味就晒你啲文化囉！當然唔係强人所難，但都唔能够咁极端囉！連水都唔飲，你估你真係練仙咩！

假如我係回教徒，都唔會開開下會同老板講要去拜神啦！又或者同老板講我成個月會唔飲唔食，可能會集中唔到精神，但我保證唔會影响工作表现嘅，你估老板會唔會信你？佢唔丙镬你就奇！
