Electronic Engineer (Hong Kong)
Afast growing leading manufacturer of electronic instruments located in HongKong Tusen Wan is seeking a Software Engineer for its R&D team. Theposition requires 3 years’ experience in softwaredevelopment. Less experience may also be acceptable for individuals capable oflearning quickly.
The eligible candidates must possess adegree in software engineering and/or show evidence of practical experience indeveloping software products.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering with at least 3 years’experience in Electronic circuit design development.
2. Good communication skills with spoken and written English, Chinese andMandarin.
3. Familiar with regulatory requirements for ISO, CE, FCC, UL.
Responsibilities:
1. Search and prepare evaluation report on electronic systems and modules.
2. Create new Product Design Requirement Specifications.
3. Select components and prepare BOM for electronic assemblies.
4. Design circuits schematics, PCB layout, assemble prototypes of electronicproducts.
5. Familiar PCB design tool, PADs, is a plus
6. Assist firmware engineers to debug hardware design, functional test andvalidation of new products.
7. Prepare initial draft of hardware assembly procedure.
8. Be familiar with regulatory compliance standards (ISO, CE) and assist marketingto design and edit technical documentation.
9. Prepare and organize product release documentation and related data files.
10. Provide sustainingengineering service of current products.
11. Researchand source new electronic parts, modules and competitive products.
12. RF design experience is a plus.
