I paid $8000 last time for my "pui yuet". She worked for me from Monday to Saturday (Sunday off), and consecutively for 26 days. Everyday, she arrived around 10am (since she said she needed to go to wet market before she came), then she supposed to leave around 5:30pm but sometimes she left 6:30pm without charging me overtime. I gave her 2 "lai see", one when she came and the other one after she left. She's quite good, I even wrote her a reference letter.
hi ar~ I just hired a 陪月 back in Aug - Sept ar.... $9K (mon - saturday 9:30 - 5pm). i only gave her a "start work" 利事. No need to pay 車費 except the first four days, she brought soup & meal to the hospital for me. But I know some asked for 車費... as I interviewed a couples.
I didn't 簽約 with her. But personally, I think "見面同寫清楚條件好似簽約一樣" would be better! However, still can't gaurantee ... the 陪月 I almost got when I gave birth to enoch "flew aeroplane" even paid deposit and 簽約................
Personally, I don't like those 陪月 who will 講到明 to pay 車費 & 利事..... seems so 計較.
When Kelvin was born, I had hired a "pui yuet" to look after my baby for one month. Because it was through a voluntary agency, I had signed a contract (only one page with one copy for me and one copy for her). The salary is about $6,500. She had to go to my home for Monday to Friday. The time is 10:00am to 5:00pm. I needed to pay her the transport fee and food cost (About $500 every week) and she needed half an hour to buy the food at market. Although she did not ask for, I gave her start work "lai see" and a little bit more salary at the end. Besides, I had to buy insurance for her.
