May I know how can I renew my kids' HKSAR passport in Vancouver? Is that the documents required are the same as if they were renewing the passport in HK? The only difference is we have to submit the documents to the Consulate of China?
As we may be travelling back to HK next March (their passport will expire in June 2017), we are also thinking about to send all documents to HK Immigration dept and pick them up in HK in March. Did anyone of you have experience in it? I noted from the Immigration dept's website that they will specify a period during which the application must pick up their passport. How long will this period be? As we will only stay for 2 weeks, I'm not sure when we should send the documents so that we can arrange for the interview for picking up the passports during our stay.
