I am not sure if you can apply yourself. I don't think u can.U can ask the immigration dept on Monday.But the agencies charge around 2-3k.
I have employed a Philippino helper (HK finished contract, 4 years experience) in February 2009. The helper processed the documents herself.
- 15 Feb 09, signed contract ourselves
- 17 Feb 09, sent signed contract for attestation in Philippine Consulate (fee HK$297.50)
- 24 Feb 09, collected the attested contract and submitted the same plus necessary visa applicaiton form to Immigration on same day
- 12 Mar 09, collected 1-year visa given (becuase she did not return to Philippines for holidays); fee HK$160)
