我老公係加藉, 不過幾年前回流返香港, 係香港生咗bb, 現在想同bb申請入加拿大藉, 請問手續煩覆嗎?? 有冇人可以話比我知手續係點呀?? 唔該幫幫手......

Is ur husband natural born-加藉,or is he having Canadian citizenship from his parents?? Bc canada just change its policy,
If he is natural born 加藉, then baby can automatically get 加藉,u can apply for a canadian certificate for him first. More information can be found here:

For the case that if he gets his 加藉 from his parents, then baby is not allowed to get 加藉 if he is not born in canada.

佢係全家移民過加拿大的, 我都有上過加拿大領事館個網, 但太覆雜, 睇唔明.......

我都係好細時跟父母移民而得加藉。數年前我都幫仔仔申請入加藉，都係填哂form，影相，然後遞去拿大領事館。如果現在policy改左你最好打去問問。

Baby born in Canada = Canadian Citizen
Canadian's son/daughter born outside of Canada = Canadian Citizen
Canadian born outside of Canada's son/daughter (except immigrant) = not Canadian
In your case, your BB is Canadian Citizen, however your BB's future son/daughter is not Canadian if did not give birth in Canada.

First Time Applicant
Applying for a Citizenship Certificate – First Time Applicant
Please submit:

1.Completed application form | PDF * (319 KB);
2.Original birth certificate which lists parents’ names. If the certificate is not in English or French, it must be accompanied by a certified or notarized translation;
3.Original proof (Canadian birth certificate or Canadian citizenship card) confirming that one or both of the parents was a canadian citizen at the time of the applicant’s birth;
4.Two (2) pieces of personal identification (such as a driver’s licence, passport, provincial health care card, SIN card, HKID card, Macao ID card, etc.) of the individual signing the application form;
5.If available, the original marriage registration of the parents;
6.Two (2) identical photos (NOT the same size as Canadian passport photos). See specifications | PDF * (61 KB);
7.The processing fee.
Applications may be submitted:

in person during the hours of 08:30 - 13:30, Monday to Friday;
drop-in box accessible most hours of the day when the building's elevators are in operation;
registered mail (please be sure to provide your local Hong Kong or Macao contact details so we may reach you to clarify information about your application, if required).
Your processed Citizenship Certificate will be mailed to you by “Local Courier Post - Hong Kong Post” if you live in Hong Kong. If you reside in Macao, the Certificate will be sent by registered mail.

That's totally true, coz my baby got her Canadian Citizenship last year in June .

I am 100% sure your baby could get the Citizenship of Canada, since one of his/her parent is a Canadian citizen. The procedures are not complicated BUT it takes an year

for you to receive the citizenship card if you applied outside of Canada. As i know, your application forms will travel alot within the year until it arrives to the rite department which the citizenship card issued from.

All you need to do is to download forms or get the forms from the consulate of canada in central. Then take your baby to photo shop and tell them to stamp on the back of the photos ( i think you need few for the citizenship card, 2 or 4 i forgot)
At last, summit your forms and photo of coz the fees to the consulate of canada and then wait......

For the Canadian passport, it's more quicker then the citizenship card, but you need to find someone who's a professional (e.g. a lawyer, solicitor, a family doctor, police...etc..) who knows you or your baby for more than (forgot how many years, as i remember is 2-3 years, check the web site) to sign and write on one of the photo to verify it's the rite/same person who's apply for the passport

呀仔 1歲在香港取了 Canadian citizenship card. 但現在已7歲, 咁張卡既相係bb 樣, 要唔要隔一段時間去換張update d 既相片 ?

換唔換都得。我十年前（BB時）幫亞女攞咗張卡，但現在都沒有換過。果時都有問過移民局，佢哋話不用常常換。我想到亞女十幾嵗時才搞過一張。

又想搭單問下大家,

我個時向can讀完中學番左香港 (己經入藉).. 之後向香港讀u..然後做野... (2006年grad)到而家..

但走個時屋企人冇幫我申請non-resident (因仲讀緊書), 如果我想plan番番加拿大... 我會唔會比人問到口啞啞或者唔比我入境呢? (我做野呢几年都淨係交hk tax)....

因為我可能想几年後同兩個小朋友一齊番加拿大比佢地讀書.... (大仔已經攞左citizenship, 細女6月先出世, 到時再搞)

唔該教下我..

第3項唔係好明, original proof, 係咪即要老公張canandian citizenship card正本呀??

bb既爸爸係加籍,而2個b都係hk出世.我大b舊年3月apply都入到籍,但細b先啱啱出世,唔會大既入到,細既入唔到呀?

有無人最近apply過呀?

另外,我2個b都唔係响canada出世,將來佢地既仔女點先可以入到加籍呢?

不用擔心, 我之前列出的已是改制後的資格.
以前是只要是Canadian(包括born outside of Canada), even their son/daughter also born outside of Canada stills consider as a Canadian.
But now, if Canadian born outside of Canada(except immigrant), their son/daughter must give birth within Canada, otherwise the BB is no more Canadian.
