My family will be moving to SG in July. Can anyone pls give me some tips on housing, schooling and medical care.
1) which are the international schools that HK people usually apply? my kid is now studying in FIS so we will apply for french school. but would like to explore other options as well just in case.
2) which are the family-friendly neighbourhoods? expat neighbourhoods might be too expensive. am trying to explore HK's mid levels, Happy Valley equivilent.
3) how is SG's medical care? i have a super super helpful pedi here in HK. are pedi in SG good?
Our family will move to SG this Jun. I have two boys and theelder one is studying at ESF K2.
Ivisited four schools that offer IB PYP curriculum last week, namely OPS, ISS,UWC East Campus and Chatsworth East Campus, and have applied the first twosimply because they still have vacancies.
UWC East Campus has waitlists (with more reputation) and it requests myson to repeat one year because he was born after 1 Sep, the cut off date forapplying each grade.
Chatsworth istoo small, not impressive.
For question two and three, I have no idea at themoment.
hi HappyMice!!! we really should exchange notes. but remember don't give out too much personal information on the open platforms.
can we chat on FB or more directly on the phone? you can pm me if that's ok.
