my grandma is also like your mother! She even renewed her maid's contract. Now the maid is with her for 3 yrs 8 months. But my grandma is planning not to renew her contract because she doesn't want to pay her the long service $$!

what she steals are:
1) my grandma's new t-shirts...even the maid is wearing them in front of her...and my grandma said 'that looks like my t-shirt' and the maid said 'give it back to you'!!! but she never gave it back!!

2) food incl. biscuits, milk powder, etc. but my grandma already keeps them in her room!

3) coins taken from grandma's wallet, my grandma said to her maid 'how come I lost some coins, the maid said 'how do i know?'

so sometimes it's no use to say to the maid...I think the only solution is to fire her!!

my grandma also thinks that if she fires her, she needs to give 1 month notice $$...so she just 'tolerate' her!

係呀, 咁似嘅? 但你grandmother can still renewed her contract???
3年零8個月, 慘過抗戰打扙. 咁好快, 仲有4個月. 揾咗人未呀? 要揾人了.

my aunt and my uncles (my grandma's children) all said the maid was good. So they forced my grandma to renew her contract. They told my grandma that the things that she is stealing from her doesn't cost much, just treat it as 'tips'!!! I find that really crazy. My grandma also didn't like to give her 'tips' like that, but she had no choice.

No, she hasn't found a new maid yet. The contract will end in Sept. My mom said she will find one for her in July! But my aunt is crazy, she said that she was afraid that the new maid is no good, so still ask my grandma to renew her. But my grandma said she didn't want to pay the long service $$! My aunt told me that she might give the long service $$ to the maid for my grandma! so crazy!
