溫哥華一定唔得 Apartment都無可能
除非買好遠地區獨立屋就算遠到如Lanley Surrey 舊既獨立屋最少都70萬除左個D好細1000尺既屋都要50幾60萬

多倫多都"一定"唔得，唔好話house, 連apartment都無可能。
連townhouse都耍50萬...

I doubted you can purchase a house with $150,000 CAD in major Canadian cities. However, you can conduct a search in www.mls.ca with the city you prefer.

加拿大major cities應唔得，你可考慮美國，有識人10幾萬美金買左間house距San Francisco一小時車程

today i heard from thew news, sudbury or timmus in ontario la. within $150K, could buy a big house for 4 bedroom. or you are talking about just the down payment... :;pppp:

down payment... maybe OK... but I am thinking if we move from HK back to Toronto, no job background support, how will the bank trust us and proof?

no problem bor, for me, i get my mortgage approval from HSBC, who could access my bank profile in HK, and that's o.k....

nowaday, the bank won't approve the mortgage that easy. I just back to Vancouver and we also have bank account in HK with HSBC but they still not approve for mortgage, so finally we bought the house here all by cash. Seems that the govt has restricted the mortgage line again?! Very strick now, even we have assets in HK still cannot get approve, they say unless we have a stable job here in Canada.

yes, the bank just change all hte policy in july, mortage now cut down from 40 yrs to just 25 years, so it meant if you are aged 40 +.. it will be hard for you to get a mortgage as the bank will assume you will get retire at age 65.. and won't grant that much for the mortgage or question will you be able to repay the mortgage back befroe your retired. my case was back in 2002 when i came. so everything got changed now.....

我朋友上個月幫我問過銀行
銀行覆話如果只做50% 按揭
基本上無問題
請問有無人知道係咪一定無問題？
