I think the employers have the rights to request a certain dos and don'ts, just like I dun think your boss would like his/ her staff dye their hair to blonde. Then ask that staff to wear a hat during work hours? You could let your helper paint her toe nails red or do whatever she likes, i.e. wear perfume/ makeup during work hours but it doesn't mean those who are not allow their helpers to do that is wrong. There could be so many reasons that the employers don't want their helpers to paint their toe nails to red, if the helper cannot accept that request she can leave this job, just like if a boss doesn't like the office staff to dye their hair blonde but it is not acceptable to the office staff, he/ she can resign.
