已交表 Partner Visa, Immigration會自動寄信比我寄番香港申請良民証 ??? And I also need to go to the nearest police station to make finger print things ?? Do I have to reqest IMMI give a letter to me ??

What does the visa let me do?The table below gives a summary of what you can do in Australia if you have a temporary or permanent Partner visa.

Visa type	What you can do in Australia
Partner temporary visa (subclass 309)	you are permitted to enter or remain in Australia with your partner, until a decision is made regarding your permanent visa you are entitled to work in Australia you are entitled to study in Australia, but you will not have access to government funding for tertiary study you may enrol in Australia's medical benefits expenses and hospital care scheme, Medicare. See: Medicare
Partner permanent visa (subclass 100)	you are permitted to enter or remain permanently in Australia with your partner you are entitled to work and study in Australia you may enrol in Australia's medical benefits expenses and hospital care scheme, Medicare. See: Medicare you may be eligible to receive certain social security payments (as you are exempt from the two year Newly Arrived Residents Waiting Period) See: Centrelink you may be eligible to apply for Australian citizenship (subject to the residency eligibility criteria) you are permitted to enter or remain in Australia with your partner.

Note: You may also be eligible to enrol in Medicare, if you have applied for, but not yet been granted, this visa.

Well, I believe it is not the same as I was told I could not work with my BRIDGING VISA (BVA)

If you are bridging, normally can work if you are waiting for other visa, but really depend which bridging you have

I am holding Bridging Visa A (BVA) , and visa condition is exactly the same as the former one which I granted when I entered into Australia , the ETA . As the ETA not allow to work in Australia, hence this Bridging Visa also not allow for working in Australia.

Bridging Visa AOn this page

New permission to work arrangements for Protection visa applicants and all clients seeking ministerial intervention commence on 1 July 2009.
Will I be given permission to work?Is your application being processed by the department or are you waiting for a decision from the Refugee Review Tribunal?
You will be permitted to work.
Is your application awaiting a decision from a court (judicial review)?
You will be permitted to work if you:

had permission to work on your last bridging visa held while the department or Refugee Review Tribunal was processing your application, and
applied for judicial review within the statutory time limits.

I have the no work condition on my Bridging visa A, how can I change this condition?You can apply on form 1005to change your Bridging visa conditions to permit you to work. There is no visa charge associated with this application. If you satisfy the requirements set out above, you will be granted a new Bridging visa A with permission to work.

By the way, about the body check up (Chest x ray & HIV test), do I have to wait until I was told or do it now ? As far as I know result that expired will not accepted.
