To me, children always come first. When I hired my first maid 黑 bun, i just passed the baby's schedule to her. About one week later, she passed her working schedule to me based on the baby schedule (I did not ask for that & actually I never thought about to prepare a working schedule to her), which included the cleansing, cooking & washing. I did marketing by myself around once to twice a week as we lived in a relatively remote area at that time.
For these years, i modified this schedule according to children time.

BTW,
i noted that good maids will finish all the household chore (even more than your request) that they probably may not fully follow the schedule but not for the others
anyway, when i started to use performance review since last maid, (by this, thanks again to many horse masters' advice: ella, Fa, Sandra....) i found that this schedule was useful in informing the maid about their work performance
