48-year-old father Pawel Bukowski from Watton, Norfolk, killed himself after botched dental surgery in Turkey left him completely toothless.
In January 2025 he paid for treatment to fix severe gum disease. The clinic removed ALL his teeth but then refused to fit implants, claiming his bone was too thin despite promising a 90% success rate.
He was sent home with no teeth and no temporary dentures, told to return in six months. The proud dad lost all confidence, couldn’t eat properly, turned to heavy drinking and spiralled into depression.He was found hanged at home on 28 April 2025.
