Very good, really act like a helper, not like the Bun Bun, play games all the time.
Clean, Humble and polite.
She worked for Indian and Australian family before.
So cleaning has standard but just little bit slow. But the result come out is very tidy.
Hope she will keep such working attitude.
Most important is she loves my new born bany & respect my 3 yrs old child' feeling.
My sister bun bun really put her temper on 2 yrs old girl. and throw her toys, already tell her dont do so, still not change.

I put advertise on Geo Expat, over 100 maids come to my office to do interview. Finally i pick her.
She 31 yrs old, her auntie 45 years works for New Zealand consulate now.
So i think more and more people will accept Sri Lanka. Coz they really act professional, concentrate. At least, i no need to worry will she hurting my child when i m not here, coz you can feel she very reliable.

After pick one, go to Sri Lanka Consulate and pay $180 for visa, after issue please pass it to HKIM, when visa issue, please pay $160 to IMMI, then you can send her the visa or give her if she still in HKG, only one thing is the air ticket quite expensive, one way already cost $2300. But my helper very want I employ her, for coming ticket we share. I paid $1150. For return ticket, i will pay full.

thanks for sharing the information. when you put the adv on GEOEXPAT, did you mention you want a Sri Lanka helper? In term of communication, are they speak moderated english (i mean communication wise)? One thing I am not sure what you said "for coming ticket you and the maid the fare" but at the first you said you interview in person in your office and pick her up. How would you share the ticket with her? Does it mean that once you confirm to take up her employment, she needs to return home to wait for the visa. Then after approval on the visa, she comes to HK?
also are they a lot in HK?
I think I am willing to pay the expensive ticket rather than paying the useless agent to find a maid. If the maid was not OK, we need to pay them ticket to return home and find a replacement - that cost us the same.

I have one new born baby 3 months old and 3 yrs & 7 months old daughter.
Most bun bun or yan yan, i believe they will not take this job. Of course they also come to interview, just I dont like them.
This Sri Lanka was A-level qualification, her english better than a lot of Bun bun, more formal and no problem.
Cause i knew she no need to pay the agency fee, coz no agent will do, but i want she can contribute something, at least show me she really want to get this job.
So i told her that the air ticket very expensive compare with Bun Bun, so she said we can share the airticket when she come to HKG, (P.S. she worked in HKG before, 2 yrs for Indian, 1.5 years for Australian), so i can interview with her in person in HKG.
For return ticket, of course is my responsible, so i will pay for it. Expected around $2500 if for one way.
Even the first day she arrive, i really no worry she will steal my things even i m not there. She is a buddhist, and told me that she also do meditation at nightime. Beside religion, you can feel she is very good girl. When talk with my children, is full of love and RESPECT, treat them as young master.

If employ Bun Bun, sometimes need to worry will they sexual harrass our child. For for her, you can really 100% relax.
In Geo Expat you can put "Looking for Sri Lanka Helper"
That will not cause race discrimination, coz like Indian they really need Sri Lanka helper, coz they can cook indian food.
So no worry just put this topic is no problem.
Before I didnt mention, just have 2 sri lanka come to interview among 100 applicants.
Bun bun request so much from me, so ask $4500 or $5000 for take care 2 kids, so i really ignore them, even ask basic salary, but they act not look like helper, they looking for friendship relationship, for fun, not positive working attitude.
***She cannot speak cantonese, i dont know anothers. I belive some can, if they have working for Chinese employers experience.
My helper really good girl, when she come to interview, her auntie come with her, i interview her over 3 times, make sure she got patience about this job. 2 times at home and 1 time at office, her auntie waiting for her downstairs over 2 hours.
And the other indian girl come to interview, her mother also come with her to my office.
