Never trust the agency. They only want to make money.
To be honest, by law, you need to pay 1 month cash in lieu although you gave her warning letters. It is not enough to prove her negligence. Also, you need to pay her a pro prata amount for annual leave. What did the officer of labour department tell you? Hope everything is fine. Good luck.
1) I employed a maid from this agency(Kah Kah employemnt agency) several months before, I found that their maids and staffs are very bad, especially two of them : Miss Terry 蔣 & Miss Joanne Cheung. They always tell you their maids are experienced and good, but I found that their maids always tell you they don't know how to do it and they don’t have any experience in doing it..... but from their CV prepared by Kah Kah, they have so many years of experiences in doing these kinds of simple household works!
2) When I found there are some problems in maids and asked the agent to follow, they will tell you Miss Terry 蔣 was on vacation leave, then that bad woman---Miss Joanne Cheung will follow the case with her BAD ATTITUDE. She will tell you it's (the dismissal of maid) not their responsibilities, it's none of their business, it’s the responsibilities of YOU, employer. “You can leave your money and air-ticket here, then I will give it to maid.” I heard this kind of words several times in the conversation. Then I asked them to give me receipts and signed documents, she told me they would not as they never done it before, it’s not their responsibilities. It’s the problems between YOU, the employer and the maid, not our agency! But I insisted on receiving all these receipts, as I know no receipts that mean no evidence to prove. Then, she called Miss Terry蔣 and asked for help. This made me very angry and I shouted at her that drew her boss’(Miss Ma) attention, she promised to sign all these documents and apologize. She said: ‘maybe her staff had some misunderstanding about this matter, you may find another maid here to replace this original one by paying $800.” From this case, I knew that the boss pretend to be a good one and the staffs in this agency………BAD…. !!!!!!! I will never use or recommend this agency to my friend!! We should put its name in the blacklist.

The case that made me so angry is: I decided to dismiss the bad maid and brought her to the agency. One day before that, I phoned Miss Terry, she told me she would not be there but she will tell her staff ---Misss Cheung to follow. The bad maid and I arrived at the agency on time, we wait for one and an half hour more , then that Bad staff (miss Cheung) arrived at office so late, you know what time it is? It's after 11:40am!!!!! I don' know why this agency can exist till now! Now they move to Mongkok and continue sending me some leaflet. Does it like a joke?
