Buy "fruit" for mother-in-law

just a survery!

I need to take dinner with my mother-in-law almost once a week. Almost everytime, my husband will ask to buy some fruit/drinks/chocolates, just like a guest, to make her happy. Actually, we see each other quite often.

Will you all do that?

Yes, I do so nearly every time to show we care, mostly edible items, sometimes seasonal fruits for after dinner, sometimes for her own use. But not too expensive or she will think you are spending too much of your hubby's money.

好正常，去奶奶或者外母度食飯，咁佢地煮飯我地買番D生果飲品大家食好合理。

We go to have dinner twice a month, we buy nothing.......my 老爺 is an expert in buying fruits, he always buy more fruits and ask us to take home e.g. super sweet oranges, A grade cherries, mango, lai chi :mrgreen:

My hubby prefers to give money to them(once a mth) and let them buy things they like.
