我也是法國生. I wanted to breast feed, but felt very bad because I was stressed by nurses to give milk powder.
When I reached hospital, they first asked me what milk powder, I said "NO". They said I have to choose just in case.
I wanted to feed every 3 hours, they allowed when my pediatrician made special request.
First 3 days my milk has not come in yet, I let my baby suck up to 1/2 hour, they 'black face' and some even said why don't I just give milk powder cos 'I have no milk'.
I did a lot of homework, and I know that babies don't need to drink that much during the first few days, they made me feel guilty, and gave my baby some milk via cup.
I was quite angry because when my baby sipped the milk powder, a nurse say "good baby, so sad your mummy has no milk for you, you are so HUNGRY!"
But lucky my baby vomited out her milk, and stopped after 1 oz. Since then I am still breast feeding.
姑娘就會抱囡囡比我餵，過咗11點要自己去餵奶房，住大房都可以隋時去餵奶房餵，冇時限。
