Very frustrated. Can only pump 2-3 oz everytime (both sides). As I have not enough mama's milk, I have to add formula milk to feed my baby. He is now about 6 weeks and started to refuse my milk la. :-( Don't want to give up but don't know what to do!!!

你幾耐先泵一次 試吓埋身食多d
如果你想全泵就最好兩個鐘泵一次, 每次都要泵到乳房軟晒呀

Don't give up. I am not rich in mama milk too, and have to add formula milk once a day. But luckily my bb didn't refuse mama milk and have no nipple confusion.

you said BB refuse mama milk!?

every bb like something sweetened. so if the formular milk, you used, is much sweeter than mama milk, your bb may choose formular milk and refuse to take mama milk.

you could consider switch to the other less formular milk with less sugar in the ingradient.

I use karihome and this taste even less sweeter than my milk (I have tried my milk once; taste good to me too )

so don't give up and keep trying.

Thanks Beanso. I pump every 3-4 hours and stop pumping until no milk spill out from the nipples everytime.
As you said I will try to pump more frequently.

I dont have much milk neither so my BB needs to do the mixed-feeding. My BB had nipple confusion in the first 4 wks but after that, he got used to it already and is willing to do the breastfeeding. Now he is already 4-months old and I keep feeding him (daytime expressed milk) and direct breastfeeding at night time and weekends. I am so happy and enjoy much during the breastfeeding time.

By the way, I don't feed my baby directly is because he refused my nipples seriously.

Thanks fatjaimama. I have to add formula milk 3-4 times a day. My baby have 7-8 meals a day and 3-4 oz everytime. So, the proportion of mama milk and formula milk is about 50/50.

I am using Smartbaby1 and also considering to change to Japanese formula milk but not yet decided.
