My current Indo maid just eats indo noodles with an egg and some veges, it takes her only 15 mins incl cook + eat.
But my new PH maid needs to eat rice. She cuts garlic into tiny pieces and fried the rice, which waste the time and gas. She spends 20 mins to cook, and another 10-15 mins to eat.
I am worried she will cook special dishes for all the lunch. I thought she would just reheat leftover or cook noodles.
i think it's ok to fry rice 1 time per week. maybe i monitor first. if she fried rice everyday i will tell her not to. but if just 1 time per week i will just let her fry.
i expect her to reheat rice not fry rice ga ma. the best is 2 maids eat the same thing, but the 2 maids eat different food (1 rice and 1 noodles), waste of my time and $$
now my flat is filled with garlic smell la
the new maid is 'mok ming k miu'
i asked my new maid to do ironing at 11.30am (the iron board and clothes opened in kitchen which i think old maid was going to iron but went to my nephew's home to with my big B). i asked new maid if she knows how to iron and use the iron, she said yes. i said iron clothes then she can have lunch. THEN, just now i saw the clothes not ironed!! i asked her why? she said she prepared lunch (for herself only!!) she prepared/cooked her OWN lunch for 30 mins then ate for another 10 mins. i asked not to fry rice again, just reheat leftover or eat noodles going fwd. YIKES!
you are so lucky!!! my maids are very 'hea' esp my NB not yet come out. so 2 maids serving 1 kid only.
the productivity of 1 maid = 2 maids now, they always 'seem jor ng jee hui bean' ga, leaving my kid and myself in living room.
i eat v light meal. either leftover dishes (e.g. veges + beef) with noodles, OR noodles with veges and dumplings. i sometimes prepare my own sandwich (e.g. with salad whip +tuna+ corn) and a cup of milk.
their lunch is heavier than mine.
I think PH maids eat more than Indo maids. they must need to eat rice and drink soup.
