Hello BK mamis, my girl was born in May and I am returning to work next week. Now I am using Ameda at home. I plan to pump once at office during lunch time. The condition is not good (pump in the toilet) so I want to pump and dispose the milk. I have an Avent Manual Pump at home but there are so many parts thus not convenient. I saw a Medela Manual Pump at Wing On which cost HK$38X which has fewer parts. Have any BK mamis used this now or before and share if it is good?

I have both Medela & Avent hand pump. Medela hand pump is as comfortable as Avent and its structure is less complex than Avent. I think its more convenient to carry Medela hand pump when going out!

All parts of the pump can be stream but you only needs to stream those in contact with milk, i.e. the 吸奶喇叭 (compose of 2 parts for the new "Harmony" pump), the yellow valve & membrane & the milk bottle. You can carry the the 吸奶喇叭 and the yellow valve & membrane in a small 密實盒 when you go out!

Thanks very much. I have bought the pump today at Wing On (now has 10% off). I will try tomorrow for the lunchtime pumping in order to familiarize with the manual pump. 3 days to go then I have to return to work on July 23 la. But I forcast that my girl can be 50% fed with breast milk then 50% Meiji.

My pumping schedule is 0600, 1200, 0730, 0000 just 4 times per day. Can experienced BK mummies share if it will work? Also, I can pump only 120 - 160 ml @ time. If I continue to pump only 4 times @ day, can the milk supply increase further or it will further drop?
