But hv you read from the instructions of the Avent cups that each cup could only be steamed for 4 times ? They do not recommend using more than 4 times (may be the plastic will change and release something bad). It is quite inconvenient for me to remember how many times I have steamed the cups. I've the same situation as you. I use mini medela electronic pump, store it in Avent's reuseable/disposable storage cup (come with a light blue color lid), and use regular steam "BO" to sterilize everythings
I found Avent's cup is very convinence, so far I put into the "BO" to sterilize over 10 times, still no problem at all. And the size of the cup is good enough to store the pumped-milk after I breast-feeded my baby.
Don't worry the productivity of your milk, as long as you keep trying breast-feeding.
