oic. maybe you should buy the pump when your milk production is steady. too early pumping may cause problems in some ppl.
the following is my experience with the breast pumps.
"symphony" - expensive but very very good (fast and quiet, no blocked ducts). i like this the most.
"swing" - also very good and expensive, no blocked ducts but single pump only. i'm using this in office now.
"mini electric" - faster than hand expression but slower than avent manual pump. blocked ducts and sore nipples at least once every month. very nosiy (not very good when use in office) but economical.
"avent manual pump" - economical and effective. quiet. but sore nipple and painful wrists after repeated use.
