NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) has special skills to activate our Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetics senses to improve our memory of English Spelling. I help my daughter (primary 2) to spell crocodile- she can use phonic to remember cro, co but her phoic cannot help her to remember dile. We create a story on DILE- DILE are the tools to hunt the crocodile. D is the BOW and I is the arrow, L (small letter is "l") is the spear; E is the fork.
My daughter's 3 senses are activated (auditory, visual, kinesthetics) and she can now spell the 9 letter long word.
