I am using Linksys Wireless-B 2.4G Router + Veo Wireless Web Cam. The total costed me about $2,500. Easy to set-up, easy to use, except I cannot use it at office due to the office firewall. I can only dial-up (quite slow, about 1frame per second) to access the webcam at home. The Veo software allows you to set up multi-webcam (4 at most).

I am using Linksys Wireless-B 2.4G Router + Veo Wireless Web Cam too to monitor my home. I can use it in the office with no problem (but you have to open port 1600 in the firewall). The speed and performance is okay to me.

U mean just buy a set of equipment and install it in my home, no need to pay service fee?
Another thing is..is the computer need to turn on at home all along the time?

Thank you all for the solutions. Regarding the ISP, do I need to apply for a fix IP line since residential line is a Dynamic IP line.
Had anyone browse the X10.com web site ? Can we purchase the survellance system and using them in HK ? I like the camera advertised there because it can pane, rotate and zoom.
