But my neighbour also the same, the daughter is 8 and the son is 2. I always see the girl go to buy the breakfast for herselves (6:00am) alone, and also the girl always go to the playground with her brother(without adult). Her mom said she must (also can)take care the brother, so always let the 2 children go out alone.
One day I take talk with their mom, I said nowaday, primary student have many homework. The guy said her daughter very very stupid (in front of the daughter) just because she don't know how to do the homework. I said you can teach her ma, then the guy said "做工課唔會唔識,自己得啦,使物教".
They only get 綜援 ka, no need to work, but also treat the children like that.
So poor girl.
