every baby is different!! don't worry too much~ i hv read from the materials that u may really need to have some checkup if the child still doesn't talk at the age of 2.
or u can try to read him picture books, u know, those with a word and a picture on one page... read them to him/her. at first they will just listen to u, but when it's time, ur baby will start to pronounce something smiliar! and it's better to let him/her look at ur lips, making it easier to learn~
and when they point to certain items (like clock, table, bus), u can try telling them the names... repeatedly...
i have gone through this phrase for the past few months... repeating all those single words EVERYDAY and reading the same small boardbooks 50 times a day...
