The colonial building has very high ceilings. Their tables are well apart. They have European style windows, when they are wide opened, the sea breeze brushing over your face certainly helps you bring back all the good memories. Very good & delicate food, as they used to run under Peninsula hotel group.
Let them know you are on special occasion, they will take a picture for you and put it in a frame card. They have valet parking and you can drive right up to the front door of the restaurant.

I have not tried the Verandah at Peninsula. No one has mentioned to me that this restaurant is particularly good to pay a special visit. If just talking about environment, the one at Repulse Bay is much better.

Gaddi's in Peninsula kowloon hotel. French dishes.. candle night, live band, high celing, beautiful place, beautiful waiter....... very good food.
I have visited this last nov, my hubby's birthday, Just tell the waiter by the time u place the booking (booking in advance is needed), they will prepare a little birthday cake, and a birthday song for you...
I have tried quite a few times for each of Gaddi's, Amigos and Verandah, they are all good. However, I would recommend a place that you can go more often, good atmosphere with candle light, not many people, quiet, very good french food and ....... at unbelievable low price (Around HK$150-200 each).
