IP CAM

請問有冇人用緊 "V-Gear" IP CAM? 好唔好?

今日去高登商場, 個sales極力推介呢隻, $1790, 如果加埋Aztech homeplug一對就$2450. 個sales主要推介:

- 調較角度較大, 左右~270度, 上下(唔記得)
- 在機身有USB插位, 方便外置memory stick
- 4倍數碼變焦
- 有收音功能
- 紅外線感應物件移動
- 有夜視燈

可否分享下你們用邊隻 IP CAM 和覺得好唔好用, 有咩不足之處?

我睇過 Panasonic BL-C10 和 BB-HCM311, V-gear ($1790), Neu Fusion NCS-670 ($2180), 唔知買邊隻好.

請問用Panasonic的家長, 攝錄軟件是否只可在一部電腦安裝? 如果要在兩部或以上電腦用, 你們會買license?

覺唔覺得Panasonic的角度太窄?

請問收音功能的作用大唔大?

無線的IP cam好唔好? 怕唔怕幅射影響BB?

是否所有這類的IP Cam 都可以被公司的firewall 限制, 所以買咗都未必可以睇到??

d sales 實係話可以在公司睇到架, 不過真唔真就唔知. 如果真係有firewall, 係咪就一定睇唔到?

所以我咪想睇下其他人用開邊隻牌子好用, 而在公司又睇到囉. 唔該俾d意見丫.

我睇過的 V-gear 和 Neu Fusion 都有埋錄影功能的. 如果我無理解錯d sales講乜, V-gear 係要在電腦裝隻碟就有錄影功能, 在多部電腦裝都ok.

Neu Fusion 就無須裝碟, 在網上收看的畫面已經有個位置係save, 只要輸入在電腦邊個位置貯存, 就可以錄.

反而 Panasonic 要錄影的話, 要在部電腦裝隻碟, 而果隻碟只係for你裝在一部電腦, 如果要在另一部電腦都錄影而又要合法, 就要向 Panasonic 買 license, 約$300. 所以如果我屋企, 我公司, 我老公公司都要錄影, 就要買license, 又好似唔係好化算.

以上只係 d sales 講, 我都唔知真實係點, 我未用過 ip cam, 又唔係好識電腦. 所以如果有人有呢方面的資料, 請提供和更正, 俾下意見. Thx.

I'm using BL-C10. 幾個月前問過, 約$1500.

"覺唔覺得Panasonic的角度太窄"
可以咁講, 睇得客廳就睇唔到飲廳.


"攝錄軟件"

個軟件 playback 時 fastforward 太慢. 睇多幾次你可能會無心機再睇.

睇你錄影的目的是什麼. 如果只係 用來睇返當日的片段, 咁部 cam 已內置 軟件, 可以定時攝取畫面落 internal buffer, 咁大家都可以 用 internet 即時睇返.

我現在每分鐘影兩格(160x160), 基本上可以由上午 8:00 錄到下午 8:00.

部份 models support memory card, 可以把 資料 transfer 返電腦.

我都有用開 IP-Cam, 我用果隻係送埋個 software 既, 要 install, 可以錄埋聲, 睇既時候有快慢鏡, 最快去到 x16.

如果公司有裝 firewall, 就要睇下係咪全部 block 晒, 唔比入; 如果唔係就可以睇到, 所以買之前最好係公司試下上 IP-Cam 既 demo link, 睇得到就 OK.

我老婆間公司都有裝 firewall, 但唔係個個 staff 既 PC 都 block, 有D機冇 Block 就可以睇到.

好多時D sales 都係亂吹, 一定要試清楚呀

係呀, 最緊要是在公司睇到, 如果唔係, 買嚟都冇用.
最後選擇, 就只有join 網上行的 "網上見" 服務, d 客戶服務員話只要入到netvigator, 就可以睇到喎 ?-(
不過d 質素可能差好多, 每月月費是$18, 要自己買cam. :-|

I am using Panasonic C-30, I will not recommend new computer user to use it. Since its DDNS service with router that there is problem cannot be solve. That means you will hardly connect to home using its viewnetcam service. But you can use other DDNS service, like dyndns.org.
For the recorder software, it is free download as trial. Actually, it is free with 1 cam, You can install in many computer. But if you want to install more than 1 cam. lience is requested.

For the firewall in office, you can config the port no. of cam using proporal as 80, 443.... (eg. www.xxx.com:443) which it will not be blocked with normal firewall.

我都睇過Vivotek的demo site, 都ok, 但係唔知點解最近去電腦商場睇, 都無sales講呢隻牌子. 所以我之前一直都無留意過. 我再去睇下個外形先.

viewnetcam is very easy to set up and auto-upate that say in manual..... I have tried two bands and 3 routers (PCI, Linksys). It will update ip at first, but after UPNP (no need to set ip , port forwarding) refreshing that becoming failure, and ip address cannot be updated to viewnetcam sericve. Hence, you cannot view your cam from your viewnetcam hostname. I use DDNS service of Dyndns.org with my linksys router, it is prefect, but it need ip and port forwarding. It is hard for normal computer user....

我自問係電腦白痴, 真係唔明解甚麼port, 甚麼ip...... 其實我考慮左一個星期, 都打算買Panasonic BB-HCM311, 因為老公話對大牌子有信心d, 售後服務有保證, 而且我地鍾意佢個外形, 但係我都擔心我地唔識set. V-gear果d就話個software裡面已經有埋update ip address的功能, 但係係台灣野, 又只係出左無耐. 所以現在仲十五十六.

我剛才睇左Panasonic的demo. 請問你地覺唔覺得個鏡頭轉的時候比較慢? 好似在尖沙咀陳列室睇時候係好d的.

When I brought my IP Cam, my decision making was like this:

1) Can I view this Cam in my office?
2) Is the interface good?
3) Do the functions fit my requirement?
4) Price.

If there are multiple Cams/brands that suit these requirement, then you could further consider:

1) Is the view-angle wide enough?

2) What is the video format? E.g. MPEG4 uses less bandwidth.

3) Support how many concurrent online viewers?

4) Any add-on services/features? Like access the cam via mobile phone using GPRS/3G, email notification, motion triggerred recording, etc....

5) How does the cam look/the cam's size?

P.S. I've been using the cam for more than 1 year and seems didn't face the problems encountered by others in using viewnetcam.com (I'm using i-Cable as my ISP)
