To my understanding, entrance to a primary school depends on scoring system mainly. Wan chai and kln tong is definitely have better "school networks"..so what's your plan? or you can try the "direct subsidy" schools (which is independent of marks).......

I'm afraid I chose a wrong kinder for my baby..therefore, I search and search around and finally, you can answer my questions...now I am much more settled....and looking forwards to my baby's coming school life...thanks polly.

woo....great to hear your girl had been accepted by st. Cat. it's my dream kindergarten.

I applied the whole day session in greenville.

hay, is your baby study in local or international stream? I am still struggling, (I applied the local stream) am I make a wrong decision ?????

Today a neighbourhood told me that the curiculum of the 2 greenville is different. The one in la noble city did not have gym lession (or P.E. lesson), is it true? she told me that there is gym exercise in the metro city branch....

Hi, my daughter Zelia also started the PNApm class in Po Lam on 1 April. She went with my maid. And, my maid told me there are 8 new students and one of them is classmate in Mongkok Noddy class. Are you the boy's mommy? Let's keep in touch here.

my son also join the class in NOV,(am class), he has playgroup now, he is happy

Hi, my boy is studying at 新寶城's am class. He is the only new boy in his class. After 3 days of school last week, teacher told me he had little crying at school. He could play slide with others but refused to eat congee. Teacher said she is trying to teach him go to toilet by himself. I hope he can learn ASAP to save $$ for diapers!:lol

My girl is still accompanied by my maid. We have 4 days' 陪伴上堂日. I am sure she will cry tommorrow since she will go alone to the class.

We only have 2 days 陪伴上堂日 but I only accompanied on the 1st day. He didn't cry last week when walking into the classroom with teacher, but he cries and vomits today, poor baby...it may be because he feels lonely after weekend holiday.

We also have another challenge after Easter Holiday.....cry is 必經之路, even we did well preparation in playgroup or even the baby is very smart. It's different when they go school independently. They will feel happy after 1 month. Take it easy.

Yes, you are right. Crying is 必經之路 and normal. Babies can get used to the new environment easily...but I really worry he will vomit again tomorrow....
