I had lunch at 太古城 yesterday. just before lunch, i went shopping with my husband & my 2 year old son. We were just outside a toy shop ("

uzzles & Quiz") & my son wanted to go inside. At that time, I was not holding on to my son's hands, but I was just a step away from him. Then he crossed path with a middle-aged woman & they both tried to move away and after a few moves, somehow the woman fell (i don't know how this could happen when my sun didn't bump into her or touch her... they were like moving side to side simultaneously...).

I immediately ran up to her & apologised & asked if she's hurt. Then she began cursing me for not looking after my son, not holding his hands, letting him running around (my son wasn't running at that time) & she yelled what a bad mum I am... she was still on teh floor & she screamed in pain & claimed that she could not move her legs & her back was hurting.. then she pointed at her "gold" watch and said "see it's broken" & pointed to sth else (her personal belongings) and said "that's broken too!!!"

Since she said she can't move & looked to be in pain, I offered to call 999 for her to get the police or ambulance... she ignored me & kept on yelling how painful she felt & that i'm bad... she got her phone & said she would call her reatives to come here... then another mum witnessed the whole thing & she came up to us & suggested that I should call the property security guard to deal with this matter. The guards came v. quickly & the woman said she needed the toilet & went straight in leaving me (& my husband + son) with the guards. I told the guards what happened... we waited for the woman to come out from toilet for about 10 mins (we didn't leave coz I was worried that she really hurt herself coz she said she couldn't move!)... but before she came out, a group of 4-5 woman (with a bit of mainland accent) came near us & i heard them saying "where's X (a name)... she says she's here"... but soon, they disappear when more property guards came...

When the woman finally came out from toilet, the guards offered to call the ambulance for her & she was really angry & she said "you need it more than i do!!!!"... & of course, she kept on yelling at me... the guards asked if she needed any assistance & offered to accompany her home (coz she said she lived in TKS, but when the guard asked which block so that they could take her home, she said "none of your business") & she just walked away...

i'm not trying to run away from responsibility coz i could have done better by holding on to my son's hands (there weren't many ppl there at 11:45am, & i just let him go by himself)... but i sensed sth really strange... i told this to my friends & they said was the woman trying to ask u for money as compensation for her "injury" & for breaking her "gold" watch & other things? the strange thing is that before the guards came, she said she couldn't move & was in pain, then suddenly when the guards were there, she could move & walk away... then she didn't mention to the guards that her watch & other things were broken... and is the group of women her "conspirator"?... i don't really know... but i'm really upset...

anyway, if u r that mum who witnesssd the event, thank u for your kind words & tissue.... (my eyes were red coz i felt i was wrongly accused & i felt very upset...)

佢地真係似屈錢黨0羅, 如果一個正常人真係有事又邊會拒絕報警叫救護車0架:tongue: . 所以妳無須將件事放上心, 快D忘記0左佢, 開心番喇. 係擔心都應該係個班人擔心自己幾時比人拆穿
