They always want to work in Canada regardless of exchange rate so this is not a reason for increase. Frankly speaking, Government should not impose the levy nor wage limit at all and let the market decides how much a maid should be paid.

So many of them want to work in Canada now. So i think their salary can be increased but the government tax should be cut.

老實講我地加人工都追唔到通脤~ 點解政府成日帮佢地加重我地負擔, 不如政府轉太吹本港雇主每年最低加薪比左我地再決定我地加幾多比d工人先. 例子~你地d政府叫雇主加5% 我地咪加2%比佢地low..... 政府唔好以為我地香港經濟好好.. 好多小市民加薪都多過加比d工人...

再唔係你地d政府推行多d本地工人比我地用$3480 我都唔介意~好過冒險請個d 激死人 d 印印 bun bun 菲菲~~~~

紅酒稅可以唔收,外傭稅又唔見佢話唔洗收！

政府成日都話$400不是稅項﹐所以減紅酒稅同$400無關係。
減紅酒稅最大得益者係經常飲貴價紅酒的人﹐這些人未必介意每月比那$400。

好....咁鍾意加, 就加在膳食津貼上, 人工不變, 若不自行照顧自已伙食, 要黏僱主 (包括柴米油), 否則不可伸令。:;pppp:

這班人不知足, 包食宿, 通漲影響有多大!

I told my maid she might have an increase in the middle of the year. She asked, "how much?" I said "maybe $80". She said "so little". I was speechless.
