this topic seems got lost interested for the last few months, it is glad that someone new to join and bring up the subject.

TV program? nowadays, I only watch the TVB series.. I still loved to watch those from RTHK 30 mins show - like "Chun mui spring autumn" the Sunday file... etc.

Besides take care the kids, what will you do during leisure time? I'm a bit crazy just start to learn IPA at age 40++++ !
Well, it's hard to catch diff. pronounications and symbols but quite challenging.

zewellar - what is IPA? am I a dumb C-9. I just learnt to use the msn, not even the ICQ yet.

I don't have any kid of my own, but do have godchildren, neice and nephews of your kid's age. diff to get their attention to homework.

sometimes they are just rush to finish everything in order to have more time to be for the computer. once you overlook their homework.. wow, lots of mistakes.. but I realised for the F4 stuff, most of the knowledge I gave back to the teacher, and could not really help them much.
just feel sorry about them.

Well, IPA is Int'l Phonetic Alphabet, i.e. playschoolers learn using phonics english letter symbols(help to improve listening skills) whereas IPA for grown-ups( nowadays people perfer learning IPA for lifelong benefits).
Did the kids in Canada hv to study them in primary school?
They're lucky that no pressure in homework and studies, it's out of the track in HongKong....... ai...

my godchildren are all in Canada while my niece and nephew are in HK.

used to view their HW once a week (during weekend) and only if they have problem with their HW, they will come to place (we just live in the next block) to work it out. But you know, the kid, only if you ask, otherwise, they will just either leave those "blank" or simply write up something in order to submit to teacher

I'm interested to know the current social benefits about Canada government. What about the medical benefits for an immigrant worked in HK & retired in Canada, let say he haven't declared income tax in Canada? Is it true that he must owned personal medical insurance coverage due not a taxplayer?

do you mean - canadian citizen lived in HK (non-resident in Canada). in Principal, they don't have any medical benefit from Canada. But when they came back to Canada for retirement, the medical benefit will auto kick in.

for the PR who did not lived in Canada - with the new rule, not sure how it works ...

I'm new comer at this topic.

My girl will soon be 8.

I have been having yoga for almost a year. I feel it's really good for keeping health and bonus is ... a bit silm.
